Saltwater Flyrodders

I had a wee look at Flyworld so might just by a cheapish outfit that l can leave in Perth when l have to go home. Apart from my 3 weight l only use two piece rods and l dont trust the airline not to break it.

What weight of rod would you suggest, bearing in mind that l use a 3 weight in Scotland with size 18 - 22 flies
Though l do have a 7 weight for rainbows so l am used to heavier rods

Thanks guys, lm hoping to be able to just walk along the river and have a wee flyfish, lm expecting the weather to be hot so not wanting to be carrying too much gear.
So ideas on best time of day, what flies and lines and close to bayswater with easy casting without the need for wading :D :D

Thanks Jarrad, we are definitely heading down Mandurah way and then on to Margaret River for a few days.

My partners son has just bought a house in Bayswater and l notice its quite close to The Swan River, can l buy a permit to fish there.

We are hoping to go down to Margaret River so a wee stop at Mandurah on way down might be good
