Hi all,
Sorry if anyone does not like politics, but this is a very important issue at the moment which will affect our access to many fishing spots in the future, both favorite spots and maybe places we woud aspire to explore and fish in the future. This post is not intended to sway anyones opinion, but to provide more information on the subject and there is a link below to a newly formed protest group but more importantly straight to a letter that you can put your name to and send direct to the relevant authorities. It takes only a minute to complete, so please take the time to complete it and also to share with as many like minded people as possible via the various social media, e-mail etc.

Western Angler have made this very valid point, who is the real lobby group ?
" PEW says fishing lobby groups are running a "misleading and inaccurate" campaign. Wouldn't Australian anglers actually be STAKEHOLDERS? Overseas environmental groups would be LOBBY GROUPS."

Worth pointing this out in your letters i would think !
