Pt Walter hasn't fished very well the last few years for me Mat. If you can get around to the other side of the river, Pt Resolution usually does better. The banks around East Freo should hold some flatties as well. Sounds like there are a few bream around Burswood/East Perth.

Pt Water has been choked by that stringy algae for the past few years, if it stays clear it should fish well, but thats a big "if". Have to fight off the kite surfers when the wind gets up as well. They seem to have been granted permission to fly up and down the bar , around about wading depth. They were removed from there a few years ago due to public complaints but at least one commercial operation now seems to have taken up residence in the past year or so. They would also put the fish down, beside it being highly off-putting trying to wade and relax knowing these things are buzzing around. Technically i think they have to give 100 meters space from anyone in the water but who sticks to rules when hooning.

Fished pt Walter last sat, lots of the snot weed has dissapeared in the last year or so. Caught one flatty and spooked lots more. The flats on the west side of the sand bar looked pretty good...

Started thinking of the long walk out to the end of Pt Walter & had second thoughts about leaving the car there for an extended period of time.

Might hit up Pt Roe & maybe the East Freo spots i know of instead. There's also Mosmans & Chidley point to consider.
