Billfish fly lines for 16wt

Post by Rohan » Wed Mar 02, 2016 9:39 pm

Any recommendations ? OK, I know about Rio Leviathan 600grains etc and Sci Anglers new 100lb core Sonar sink in 600 grains. Any other ideas ? Not Sci Anglers Billfish taper, they are NLA, I probably would have bought one of those if available.

Interesting to see one of the guides in Exmouth make use of a intermediate for Billfish, makes for spectacular subsurface strikes :D

40lb Trilene is supposed to be a pretty good running line for spey chucking.

Up the strain & 30ft of T20?
