The scenery in Ireland if you are into photography is something of many choices.
Giants Causeway (9).jpg
The Giants Causeway with some very impressive formations that I thought might be of interest.
We were blown away on the amount to see in this country so so different to here.

Pic not taken on the p... just the way it was.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (10).jpg
This is what you call a boat launching facility.
It was a long way down to catch some Atlantic Salmon back in the day.

Arnold
Is that at the Carrick a Rede Rope Bridge up near the Giants Causeway? Looks fairly familiar to there to me.

Dee :)

Dee

That it was.
At the fisherman's shack the other side of the rope bridge on top of that island rock. Reading the stories of those that fished there back in the day, one could only wonder the effort not only of fishing from that high up but also the walk that they would have had to make to get their catch to market.
The scenery along the coastal cliffs are amazing.
We went to the northern end of Ireland to the Dingle in the south and enjoyed all in between.

It was Great.

What a fabulous country to visit and to fish - I have many fond memories of bass fishing in the south, used to go every year with the same crew until I moved over to Australia. Still have friends living in the SW and others visiting there each year and I can't wait to make a return trip once all this current nonsense ends.

Coming onto salmon season. We've been pretty lucky that the last 10 odd years, salmon have reached Perth waters regularly. Before that, we had to travel south to target salmon. Dunsborough was always a favourite location.

Thought that I'd put this pic in the mix as I love it.

A picture that I could never have taken.

High stick Harry. You can guess what happens next. Steve's TCR accumulated some serious frequent flier miles for about 18 months.
