Boneheads 2021 (was "SW FlyRodders "Exmouth Extravaganza" 2021"

Post by Hirdy » Mon Oct 12, 2020 1:54 pm

Hi All,

Please note: this is not a Boneheads trip because we can't be sure Morsie can get through quarantine (covid-19 or just "Special Morsie Quarantine." :) )

As mentioned at the last meeting, we'll head up to Exmouth in May next year. Unfortunately, the week I though I had booked was not what was actually available. The week we now have 8 villas booked (for sure) is Saturday 22nd to Sunday 30th May. We also have the option of taking as many villas as we like from Sunday the 16th (for people who want to go early.)

Why would we want to go early? Well, the week I've got booked has a full moon on the Wednesday (26th) so we have spring tides that week. Go up early for the neaps.

Please get back to me as early as you can for your requirements. That prior week is not a solid booking and I need to get back to them ASAP to confirm those accomodation numbers.

Cheers,
Graeme

There's been no discussion of costs, but in previous years it has been $100 per night, minimum 8 nights.

Basically, if it's a steal even if it were $120 per night.

Sorry Lee, but I'll need to confirm numbers much sooner than that. The rumour is that we are keeping out the filthy eastern staters until at least April. :D I think the government is using different wording though.

Since we can't more certain about the borders, you can put your money up but I can't guarantee you can attend. Your choice. :(

There is a list but you don't seem to be on it (you probably haven't responded to an email that was sent.)

There are LOTS of places available so if anyone is keen and/or has a friend who wants to go, please send me a note.
