This coming meeting, we have the following activities on offer.
Leon has just returned from a year living in Texas. He's going to show a little of what he got up to.
Monty donated some NYAP heads at the last meeting. The second activity for the night will be how to use one of these to make a NYAP.
Field day roundup from Walpole, and the next field day is Blackwood river (Augusta). April field day is Dunsborough. We're all hoping that it's going to be a good salmon year. At this stage, we are planning to stay at Dunsborough Lakes Holiday Resort. Those that are heading down will need to organise their own accommodation.
We have an introduction to casting day Sunday 17 March. Even if you have been fly fishing for a while, it's always good to go back over the basics, as well as correct bad habits, picked up over years of casting. JH Abrams Reserve, at the end of the Broadway, Nedlands. Start time 9.00am. We'll have a sausage sizzle at lunch.
Graeme will be casting before the meeting from 4.30pm onwards.
