Re: AGM - Colour of flies
Well 55% of all light hitting the ocean etc, is gone at 1 metre of depth and all light goes into the ocean via a visual
circle called Snells Window, which is seen by all things in the water looking up. That sets the fishes view outside the
surface but if the wind is up, the sea is up etc the light ...

Re: AGM - Colour of flies
There are a lot of papers written on the subject, check with the WA Univ, here and overseas, but mostly they see what we see in the spectrum, like red, blue green since they have, the species seeing the full colour spectrum, just 3 cones in the retina, science stuff, and the pelagics have just blue ...

Re: ONLY 2 DAYS TO GO HAVE YOUR SAY, NUMBERS MAKE THE DIFFER
It certainly looks as if the Labor Mob let things slip past them with that trawler, and had to start from the foul line to get it stopped. WA should ban it from entering our waters, and so should ALL of the states. Its all our water, the FEDS only own the deeper bits without ports.

Re: Converting from fresh to saltwater
There are a couple of dams fitted with bass, or at least that's my information from times past.
But I don't think they would be open slather. I do know of a couple of dame with funny fish residents,
how you get in there is a bit dubious.

If you are going to fish beaches and local river flats, use Platypus Lo Stretch mono, backing, stay away from braid
as the beaches and flats have sand grit which fools around with braided lines. Just a thought.
