That's great info! I did not see any schools of fish and swell was very big down there. Had a few casts at a small pod of something (smaller but still same shape, I think), but they just didn't want my fly... properly some other kind of fish. I'll give it an other go the week before ...

Hi there, the new swede here. I'm keen getting down south hunting some of those "salmons". Any tips/sites? Looking from Black point and or Bremer bay along that long cost line. I know nothing about this fishing so sorry my ignorance ;) . I have a proper 4x4 and not afraid of walking the extra mile.
