Could bring the 7D put it on the tripod and video casting ,then replay on the IPad.

If you do video casting Pete, These 2 apps are great for analyzing videos.
Videopix for slow motion - goes down to 1frame per second.
Coach my video - Great tools including ability to draw on video plus measure angles.
We use these for paddling.
