The June meeting, we have our tackle auction.
Bring along any items that you wish to sell. The club takes 10% from sale. Please consider this when setting your reserve.
Tackle Auction Tuesday 3 June 2014
Re: Tackle Auction Tuesday 3 June 2014
If you have any large ticket items like rods and reels, please post up here a description, and better still, a photo. This gives people a chance to bring along enough cash on the night.
For small value items, please try to bundle them together, so that we don't have a million items to go through.
There are always great deals to be had on these nights. Well worth coming along to see what's on offer.

Re: Tackle Auction Tuesday 3 June 2014
Will this meeting tonight be exclusively for the tackle auction?
Being that I've been unable to make it to a meeting thus far, I don't want to rock up and bid on items is all.
Might give it a miss this evening and then show up for the casting clinic on the 22nd (if I'm not on site).

Come along Steve. Bid early and bid often!
The club benefits to the tune of 10% of the sale prices, so don't think you would be unwelcome there tonight just because you couldn't make it to earlier meetings. It's usually a fun night anyway.
(I've been looking at my gear, hoping I might find something to sell, but I'm a hoarder by nature: I don't have anything I can definitively class as "Never again needed".
No doubt I'll find something there tonight that I never knew I needed, but now can't live without!
)
Cheers,
Graeme

Hey Steve - there is always a chance someone might sell some decent sized flies, some reasonable sized hooks, some flytying material or even a rod with a foregrip.

Haha, Simon.
I picked up a 50 pack of 6/0s just to get you off my back!
Do you reckon anybody would be selling pictures of me with my first Australian salmon?
