Sure the lure fisherman caught all the fish, but did he REALLY enjoy catching them on lures ? :) I think NOT ! :D :D
Keep the faith mate and if he does it again you can always push him overboard ! :lol:

Cheers Chaps, I'm glad you enjoyed the video I'll let Bernie know, I don't think Michael and I can say the same :)

There were no big schools around at the stones just small groups swimming around which made it much easier dragging a lure behind the boat as boring as that may seem. Blind casting was the only way we managed a few hook ups on fly. It was Bernie's biggest fish he ever caught so he was stoked.

Must say the Mewstones is getting so hammered at the moment that I wonder if the fish around there will remain a regular occurrence. There was even big game boats out on the weekend trying their luck with the salmon.
