Hi all
This next meeting is our Annual General Meeting. We'll try and move through the formal part of the meeting as quickly as possible.

As per our club constitution, all positions on the committee are open for election. If you feel that you can make a contribution, please put your hand up for a position on the committee.

At this stage, the committee has not decided on fees for 2025. However, looking at the financials, we are not expecting to increase fees. Please check back for confirmation.
Full member - $70.00
Junior member - $40.00
Country member - $40.00

Saltwater Flyrodders of WA are aligned with Recfishwest on a club level. As a result, all members of Saltwater Flyrodders of WA will also receive membership to Recfishwest. There will be an option on the membership form if you do not wish to become a member of Recfishwest.

A door prize is on offer for those members that sign up on the night. Details to be announced soon.

If you are a paid up member and not getting email correspondence, please check with the members registrar that your contact details are correct.

We are now able to take electronic payment through square. Direct deposit via your bank is also available, if you can’t make the meeting.

Field day fees have not been finalized for 2024. We don't expect any changes from last year. Please check back for confirmation.
Full year $40.00. Single field day - $5.00
Money raised from field days goes directly towards purchasing prizes for those that participated in field days through the year.

2025 calendar of events will be presented on the night. Details will also be published to the website shortly.

A raffle prize will also be on offer. Details to be announced once finalized.

This year's guest speaker is one of our members. Al and Terry has spent the last few years trying to tick off all 4 species of permit found around the world. They have finally joined that very exclusive club. Al is going to talk about that journey, and the parts of the world that they visited chasing those funny looking trevally.

The AGM is one of our most well attended meetings. It’s always a great night. Hope to see you there.

Hi all. Just confirming that the committee has voted for no increase in fees for 2025.
Rich has a bit going on, and as such, hasn't ordered the new club hoodies. As such, if anyone would like to place an order, last chance to get it done at the AGM. If you haven't paid, please sort this out by the AGM. We will endeavour to have jumpers ready for the first meeting in Feb 2025.

Hi all,

This is a reminder for the AGM at Swan Canoe Club on Tuesday 3rd
December 7 for 7:30 pm start. The club is putting on pizzas for dinner
for the members afterwards. Members are welcome to come earlier for a drink and to
renew membership from 6:30pm onwards.

If you are not able to attend the AGM - the 2025 membership form is available for download off the club website under the "join the club" page.

It is also the last opportunity to get in on the club jacket order.

Graeme Hird & co will be casting beforehand from 4pm onwards.

The agenda for the AGM, draft AGM minutes from last year for approval
and Financial statements for the year ending 30 September 2024 are
attached. Last year's meeting minutes and the financial statements will be
presented at the AGM for approval.

Allan Hughes will be doing a presentation on his quest to catch all 4
permit species after the formalities.
