By all means call me a soft c***. But considering it's going to be cloudy (makes spotting fish early in the seasons a bit difficult) and there may be a storm, I'm bailing out.

Yes I know the winds and waves could make it good for everything else. Yes - pathetic.

But at least me not going makes it a good chance it will be a great day for the rest of you. So I'm bailing in order to make it better for the rest of you. You'll kill it!!!

But I'm really keen for next Friday or the weekend. They have got to here by then!

Yes Simon.
After we cancelled, my wonderful wife, concerned that I may have gotten bored dragged me off to IKEA for the day.
I had some "smoked Salmon" on some funny bread for lunch. Not a great experience.
Just the word Salmon now brings tears to my eyes.
I need to go fishing as rehab.
Hope you had a nice weekend.

We went to bunkers and saw a few good fish pulled out but in general it was overpacked by both shore based fishers and absolute utterly retarded boat users who thoroughly enjoyed chasing away any school that came remotely close to the beach.

Gonna take a day off next week I think...

Anyone else have any luck??
