Hi Birchy. Between school/public holidays and favourable tides, there weren't many options earlier in the year. Besides, September is the new April.

I'm interested even though I'm not a member (will become one if I end up living full time in Perth though). Is that an issue?

No problems David. Boneheads is not a "club event", even though club members organise it.

Ha Ha , yes indeed, the choice of tides for available weeks in April were terrible, it was either (very) early March or September. September last year was a great one "Billheads " and there are often lots of Permit/Bonefish posts on Facebook by the fly guides up there at this time of year too.Tony Ong wrote:Hi Birchy. I've never been on one of these trips before. Just wondering what they are like and how the days etc are organised? Also, I know its $800, but what is that for? Do we rent boats up there as well or is it all shore wading type of stuff where we all pile into a mini van and take over the flats or what way do you do it?
