Hi Birchy. Between school/public holidays and favourable tides, there weren't many options earlier in the year. Besides, September is the new April.

I'm interested even though I'm not a member (will become one if I end up living full time in Perth though). Is that an issue?

No problems David. Boneheads is not a "club event", even though club members organise it.

Cheers,
Graeme

Ha Ha , yes indeed, the choice of tides for available weeks in April were terrible, it was either (very) early March or September. September last year was a great one "Billheads " and there are often lots of Permit/Bonefish posts on Facebook by the fly guides up there at this time of year too.

I've never been on one of these trips before. Just wondering what they are like and how the days etc are organised? Also, I know its $800, but what is that for? Do we rent boats up there as well or is it all shore wading type of stuff where we all pile into a mini van and take over the flats or what way do you do it?
