Saltwater Flyrodders

A 4 or 5 wt for the Swan. 7 wt when you head down south. If you are going to bring just the one rod, I would suggest the 7. Not so much the size of fish, but to combat the wind. Bring both floating and intermediate lines, and you should have most bases covered. If not, you could always support our local economy. Flyworld (located in Bayswater) and Bluewater Melville both carry a great range of fly gear.

I had a wee look at Flyworld so might just by a cheapish outfit that l can leave in Perth when l have to go home. Apart from my 3 weight l only use two piece rods and l dont trust the airline not to break it.
