Thanks for a great day Simon, we really stuck it to those Salmon. It was a wonderful to see all the Flyfishers out together
My body is aching so bad today, that's the hardest work I've done in a long time (Must be getting old).
All I need now is a new 10 weight rod and a pair of boardies Like Tony's and my life will be compleat.

Great day out yesterday,

Was good to see the flyrodders out representing. Lots of fish around, just a matter of finding the schools.

Hi Rog. I'ld invite you out next weekend, but a little birdie tells me that you may be running out of rods and reels.
Was insane out there on Saturday. Dave and I were using surface flies most of the day. Watching the salmon come up in squadrons to smash the fly was too cool.

It was great!
In between all the minor disasters I was hoping to try and use poppers myself, but my skipper just can't stop his boat from rocking and rolling. So casting in the right direction was sometimes a problem for my shaky old legs.
I do have a few spare rods left by the way and I picked another replacement tip for my sage 8 wt on the way home on sat.

What a day it was on saturday, very good to see everyone hook up at some point. A couple of rods damaged it sounds like....you can include my 10wt to the list
Some nice big Tailor about also, with my biggest being 57cm. I heard some of you even found pinkies in the area, good stuff!
Roger its 2 days on and I still feel like I've been run over by a bus. Saturday night I couldn't even sit down without a struggle(too fat & too old).

Earlier in the week I went to show my parents around Fremantle. I “happen” to have my 9wt with me when a school off Salmon pushed into the harbour and managed to get multiple hook ups. Seems like Salmon more about being in the right place at the right time than bananas and experience
