Good stuff! Do you guys all chase them from the boat or is there anyone else chasing them from the shore like me?

Hi Diarmuid. It's possible to chase them from shore. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. Perth and surround beaches get pretty busy in Salmon season. Finding a beach where the fish come into fly range is the challenge. Usually best done on a weekday, or at first light, before the fish have been pushed out further.
Areas worth a try are around Penguin island, Cockburn sound, and Warnbro sound.
