Flycraft 1820 bayboat: For sale is my personal fishing boat, imported from the US in 2004. To my knowledge it is the only Flycraft outside of America. These boats are NOT a mass produced boat they are built one at a time by a boutique boat builder. It is with the greatest regret that I am selling this boat, there is nothing more important to me that this boat, and no doubt it will be my worst decision I have ever made. I put this sale in the category of selling a lung or kidney it pains me typing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reason for sale is my fishing style has changed and will be looking for a larger boat.

At 5.5meters is the best fishing boat I have ever fished out of, it is a fish magnet and loaded with all the goodies. The inner hull is completely foam filled every single cavity has flotation foam. This boat will pass ANY swamp test. I have fished up to 15 miles offshore (Perth waters) and have been caught out in some adverse conditions. For a small boat it rides like nothing you have been in. As you can see I praise this boat as the holy grail it truly is awesome. It is always cleaned and garaged when not in use. For a 8 year old boat it is excellent condition. Have fished this boat extensively from Perth to Broome from fishing Bonefish to Billfish.

Fly Craft's fiberglass/foam construction and foam-filled molded stringer grid system uses no wood at all. This makes the boat lighter, more fuel efficient and easier to pole, and offers faster acceleration out of the hole. Storage compartments, baitwells, release wells, the deck and the liner are all molded as one-piece units to increase strength and stability.

Standard features include a large, round, aerated livewell, a 30-gallon release well and a 40-gallon fuel tank with filling ports on both sides for easier access. The hatches all have self-bailing gutters to ensure that the storage area stays dry. The center console offers a lockable storage compartment, flip-up access to the fuse panel and batteries, and a seat with a built-in cooler. All deck hardware is stainless and either recessed or pop-up to reduce obstructions on the deck. The undergunwale rod storage is long enough for 9-foot fly rods, and adds a wrinkle to the typical system by offering opening gunwales for easier access to the rods.

Sorry I forgot to add the link to boats on line. Oh well you get that!

Replacement cost from the US as is with accessories is just under 50K, The builder had developed some sort of cancer and has been fighting it. I am pretty sure he is over it last I spoke with him. Not sure how many more of these will be made.

I am after $35,000 and yes it is the ultimate fly boat. Currently insured for 40K.
