Anyone on here have experience with Taylor Fly Fishing reels?

They get my vote for simply calling it "start up friction"! Well done to them for knowing something about science.

It's nice looking reel but it doesn't stand out from the pack in what's already a crowded market. I'd be willing to give it a try if I needed a new reel and there weren't to 3 or 4 other reels that I want to try first.

I look forward to having a play with your one Liam. It may change my mind ...
