December 9th & 10th Field Day - Blackwood - CLUB ACCOMADATION CLOSED

CLUB ACCOMADATION/CAMP SITES ARE NOW CLOSED. IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO HEAD DOWN AND ARE NOT ON THE BELOW LIST. CONTACT MOLLOY ISLAND CARAVAN PARK DIRECTLY AND ARRANGE YOUR OWN ACCOMADATION.
December field day is a weekend camp out at Molloy Island Caravan Park(So you will need a tent swag or if you are Canadian you could go commando that time of year). The club has booked 5 powered camp sites up the back and side by side. So it should be a fun way to finish of 2017. Leave post here if you are going to attend should have room on the site for 12 or more.

Great to hear you guys coming down. The Blackwood can be a very frustrating but also very rewarding place to fish. Bring some disco shrimp/gurglers for the surface bite just on sunrise and your usual bream flies (don't be scared to upsize them) too. Don't forget there are whiting down near the town on the flats, and more than likely river tailor, salmon trout and possibly giant herring if you know where to look ;)
