Yep. Been getting a few as bycatch fishing for bream. Mostly further up river, and haven't tried the usual down river haunts yet. The last couple of weeks of warm weather should see them getting more active.

Brad point Roe mossy Park,out going tide and on the down river side is were I usually start looking for them.

Or between Stirling hwy bridge and the next marina up river nth freo.,nice big broken ground flats.

Did the nth freo area last year pete, was dead. Might try pt roe, but I know they get along pt res and it’s that bit closer

Got a nice one on the Como flats near the Jetty about a month ago when it first peaked 30C.
The next week was a bit rainy and the snot weed went nuts didn't even see one after that.
Snotweed=no fish in my experience.
