Not long here in Perth from Canada. Great forum, great website! Looking forward to many field days with the Saltwater Flyrodders of WA.
I have one day in Exmouth during Easter. Does anybody know of any reasonably priced guides up there or directions on a place I could walk to without 4WD?
Thanks,
Leon

Re: Exmouth Guides?
Hey man,
I am not a very experienced fly fisherman but I have done a bit of research in recent times about exmouth as I
am also going up to Exmouth in August/Sept this year.. your best bet is to google fly fishing exmouth & it comes
up with a variety of different guides.. Ben at bluewater tackle I believe has his own boat which he takes people out on.. dont quote me but I did see it on iFISH when they were chasing bonefish in exmouth! I am going up for 2 weeks so I guess
im gonna play it by ear.. and do my own research once I am in exmouth.. I plan on spending most of my time down the bay of rest down the bottom of the gulf!
sorry I couldnt of givin you anymore information but its a start! I got my fingers crossed for you mate! enjoy!

Hi Leon
Google Brett Wolfe, or Jono Shales. They would most probably most fit what you are looking to do. Exmouth has had a proliferation of guides in the last 6 months. Theres at least 4 other guides up at Exmouth, however they run larger boats.
Lots of DIY shore based options. Just depends on how fare you're willing to travel, which way the wind is blowing etc. If you have a full day, purchase a Marine Parks pass and head down to Sandy Bay. Fish all the accesses back to town. Oysters, at the top of Exmouth peninsular is another great spot. Well protected in any southern wind. The area around Bundegi boat ramp is another spot worth trying. On the Gulf side, there's lots of spots between Learmonth airport and Exmouth. Generally works best on a rising tide. Hope this helps.
