Hi Guys, My wife and I are heading up to Broome in late August and back through Karratha and Exmouth in early September.
As newbies to Saltwater FlyFishing we'd really appreciate some tips on locations, flies, and anything else useful.
We've just outfitted ourselves with 10WT and 8WT rods, reels and Sink Tip lines (Thanks Tony),
and I've tied up some clousers and spawning shrimp patterns.
All the Best,
Mike (& Kim)

Willie creek north of Broome, might be good on a incoming tide. The pearl farm is there to have a look at if the fishing is great.
Pt gantheaume also incoming tide.

Hi Kim & Mike
I haven't fished Broome, so can't give you any tips there.
Exmouth in September can still be tough, if weather hasn't started warming up.
Pilgramunna to Sandy Bay stretch is always a good one. It's a long walk, but well worth doing.
Keep a lookout for bait. They generally don't move far (ie you can track their movement over several days), and predators are usually not far behind.
Mildura Wreck around to Bundegi is always a good option when the southerly winds kick in.
Hope this helps.

Forgot the mouth of willie creek is where Simon and Geoff part filmed heads and tails.
Permit that is, tides and weather I don’t know.
