I am looking a outboard hydrofoil for Yamaha 90hp - what do you recommend and why?

I have seen some are no drill Like the idea in case damage foil and cant get same model / size etc. Anyone used one? eg https://www.bcf.com.au/p/stingray-sting ... 20#start=6

Most seem to be similar width, but the length varies a lot eg
- short https://www.bcf.com.au/p/stingray-sting ... =BCF011020
- OR long https://permatrimaustralia.com.au/produ ... permatrim/

thanks

A work mate just sold his tinnie and I got his for a good price, only have tried it once last weekend it’s on my 130 2/s yammy.
First impressions keep the nose down in the lower revs, not so much bow rise.
Second feelings seem to drag the boat doing faster knots.
Going out this weekend for a squid and might do the exercise of before and after installation feelings.

I guess the work by the fin to lift boat onto plane faster requires work that also lowers the top speed. thanks

I have Doelfin - it works great. Have to drill into engine leg to instal each wing.

It helps get the boat on the plane faster and using less fuel. Helps on boats with lots of weight in stern and centre of mass more towards the stern.

Lots of options out there.

Thanks for info. Other things have popped up since raising this, so will get back to later and hopefully before boneheads
