Hi Rohan these reels have been out for a year or so but I haven't seen much "chatter" about them as a fish fighting instrument that isn't just a lift of the advertising. They look like very good reels with a great drag.

Do you know if they are type II or III anodising?

Is anyone locally using them?

Adam

Thanks Stephen the review in fly life is almost an exact copy of the promotional information on the Ross website. Your friends recommendation supports the promotional information.

As far as i know this is the first time these reels have come into WA as general shop stock, maybe someone has brought one or two in via the internet. Ross reels have always had a good name as a quality reel, and all three of these series look the goods at thier respective price points. These do look pretty nice though, i like the actual sizes, spool width and depth. I couldn't say what kind of anodising they have, that has not been covered in the specs.
