Saltwater Flyrodders

Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting a 9ft 5wt Sage One for an upcoming trip to New Zealand (March 2013). There seems to be a lot of opinions with regards to what the best line to match is. Some say Rio Gold, others say Grand and then there's the rest... Some of you's will no doubt own a 'One' and I was hoping you's could tell me what your prefered line is? Are there any shops around Perth I could go have a cast with the rod?

Running a gold on mine. Not sure if Rohan at Bluewater Melville has any in stock. Otherwise, get in touch with me if you want a cast of mine.

im casting a rio gold 5wt also not the worlds greatest caster but it casts beautifully!this 5wt sage one is one of the nicest light weight rods ive ever cast.. beautiful rod!

just ordered a aqualux aswell ill let you know how I rate that!
