Hi Lachie
I have fished the North Mole before and had some success with Tailor and Herring.
It can be very hard to fish from at times with all the people around and your back cast restricted by the big rocks.
A decent pair of shoes are needed to climb the rocks.
The Rio Outbound Short line will come in handy when your back cast is restricted.

Weed flies chasing buff bream would also be a good target. Don't have to cast far for them and they go like mack trucks.

Havr crack around the disabled fishing platform & over near the Cray factory . Both are the easiest places for a backcast.

Hi Tony, How would you go about using a weed fly? Weed doesnt move like a baitfish, so i imagine a weed fly wouldnt need much moving either... So how do you get it to look natural in the water?

Pretty much fish the fly dead drift. Cast out, let fly sink, keep in contact with fly. You want a fly that sinks at the same rate that your weed burley is sinking at.
