It's time to invest in a new pair of sunnies and I wonder what you lot all use/like?
I've been looking at the Costa Del Mars (the Tortoise frame and green mirror lens finish) - anyone else use Costas?

I do they're the best lenses I've put my eyes behind.
I have a pair of amber polycarb Zanes & had a pair of Blue Mirror flash glass Zanes.
Blue was a bit too dark for river fishing so I sold them.
Amber is very good for contrast & a nice colour for the swan river and driving especially toward the end of the day.
They're available locally now.
I've had spotters as well but at a comparable price the costas are much better.

Thanks for the feedback Mat! I'm chasing them to primarily use on the flats/boat up north / in the tropics where the sun is harsh and bright!

Hi,
I use Maui Jim prescription glasses. They are the best performing glasses I've worn to date. Worth the money. The glass lenses are slightly heavier than poly lenses but resist scratching better in my mind. Having said all that....Delvin and Clint can spot fish far better without their glasses than me with my glasses.

I recently graduated from the Cancer Foundation polaroid sunnies to a set of spotters. I was blown away with what a good lense can do. Any upgrade is an upgrade. I think at the mid/top end there is no real difference only personal preference...

I'll second the Maui Jim glasses (mine are not prescription). Best I've ever had. Mind you the wife doesn't like the mirrored lens - she thinks it's a bit sleezy that people can't see what I'm looking at. That's one of the reasons why I like them.........
