Business Cards?

Post by Rudolph » Wed Jan 25, 2012 1:59 pm

Hi Guys,

I mentioned this to a few of the guys at the AGM. I think it's a good idea to get some business cards printed with saltwaterflyrodders details on it. I've met a few guys and thought it would be a great way to introduce them to the club. There seems to be a perception out there that you have to be "good" to join the club :o

I thought you simply had to own a SAGE rod, Tibor reel or at least a cool pair of boardies

Anyway, just a suggestion. Let me know what you think.

It's a good idea Rudolph. Another thing that we have to try and organize. In the meantime, I've the club field day flyers. You're welcome to take a handful of them to hand out.

My partner is a graphic designer and did something similar for me for the Film Photography group I'm a part of (with a similar intent of handing them out - they work very nicely).

It came to around $80 to print 500 and have them sent to us (she has an account with a large volume printer).

I'm sure she'd be more than happy to design something for us in her spare time!

Here's what we knocked up in a couple of hours:

Reformed Wat the Faa Member.

I have seen the light and also the backing of my reel.

There are some in WATFAA whose backing has never been off the reel.

Doug.
