Saltwater Flyrodders

Hi folks,
I'm a Melbourne based Scot (please don't hold either against me ) visiting WA for a family holiday for a couple of weeks from 29th of this month.
I'm planning to bring some bits and pieces of gear in the hope of having a cast or three as we travel around. I have a saltwater fly #9 travel rod etc. and will probably manage to fit in a lure rod (if trout fly gear was more appropriate or there were freshwater options, I might manage that too ) We start and finish in Perth with a few days in Margaret River, Busselton and Mandurah in between.
Any info on what I might catch and locations to try would be very much appreciated.

A 6 weight will be handy for southern estuaries. Bream, Herring (Tommy Ruff), Skippy (Silver Trevally), being the main target this time of year. Size 2-6 baitfish patterns will be most useful.

there is a great spot called Killcarnup which is about 2km walk north of the Margaret river mouth along the cape to cape.
you can also take a very tame 4x4 track that takes you right to the point google map " old killcarnup road"

heaps of reef to walk out on and its great if the swell is up and you want to get some were protected. ( great spot if its howling southerly)
This time of the year you also occasionally see silver drummers or buff bream ( or what ever they are called) tailing on the flat reef as the tide turns ( especially if its been a slow tide with a really low,low tide.) apparently they are feeding on weed???? ( feel free to correct me) But i have never been lucky enough to get one.

get down to Augusta if you have a chance too, beautiful spot and there is good fishing all along the beach from "colour patch" ( near the turner st caravan park) up to the river mouth. All estuary species that Tony mentioned.

also heard rumors that the black bream are prolific closer to the river mouth. gotta try find were the salt water and fresh water wedge together normally around snags. ( i think its spawning season??)
