Hi Lads,
looking at getting a very fast sinking line for the 10wt. What is decent out there thats not going to break the bank? Must be a good line for double haul so some sort of weight forward. Could be used from boat / kayak or shore. It will be mainly used around Perth here with odd trip up north and down south when I get a chance.

Short answer- 30ft of 14 sleeved at either end attached to an old fly line.
Long Answer- Buy a premade integrated shooting head like a leviathan or outbound custom.

Don't know if this will break the bank, but it's my pick for a 10 wt sinker.
Scientific Angler 350 grain streamer express. Orange running line, dark head section. There's an intermediate version as well, so make sure that you grab the right one.

Is this the one Tony? Is it a sink tip of full sinking line with 30 feet of really fast sink?

Tony's is a good recommendation or alternatively a rio 350grain leviathan, or for a cooler water version of a similar thing, the Rio Striper DC. You can use level sinking heads rigged on a separate running line but they are UGLY to use and the dollar saving on this set up is not what it used to be.

JOB! I'll order one of those so

I take it that when I upgrade my 10wt to a better quality one that it would still be a good line?
