Soon to be in Perth and can't wait to get there!!

Post by Dan Ivanoff » Tue Nov 03, 2015 3:58 pm

Hey Folks,
Life has thrown me a curve ball recently and I now find myself packing to move from Tasmania to Perth. I land there late November, so I am hopeful to make it along to the December meeting and shake a few hands..
I have fly fished for the better part of 25 years in both the salt and fresh. I love them both equally, but for the adrenalin hit it has to be the salt!

I will have a 6.7m hard top bar crusher with me and whilst this is not the best fly fishing vessel it will no doubt get me out to some decent fish. I plan to take December and January off before trying to find work. I would love to here any recommendations for the best Perth has to offer over these 2 months.. I have every rod from 4 weight through to 15 weight, so pretty much anything goes....

Look forward to getting there and will hopefully catch up at the December meeting.

Welcome Dan, their will be plenty of members at our December meeting as it's our annual AGM. A good time to meet, swap stories and get the latest hot local fishing tips.

G'day Dan,

Welcome to the forum and to Perth. If life must throw curve balls to fly fishermen, it's the ones that bring you to Perth that you want to get onto! :)

You might want to buy some clothes for warm weather when you get here though ... :)

Cheers,
