Saltwater Flyrodders

Hi Folks, l am coming over to Perth for three weeks next Xmas and hope to do some Flyfishing, either salt or freshwater.

What kinds of fish can l be expecting to catch at that time of year

I am probably going to be fishing from the shore.
I only do Freshwater Flyfishing in Scotland so any help on
what gear l should be buying or hiring when over will be greatly appreciated.
I have no idea on what flies to use or what the best areas to go to are.
What are the laws on catch and release in Perth.

No doubt l will have loads of questions in the next 9 months or so

I'm sure the lads could lend you some gear. Payment in single malt gladly accepted

Head down to Mandurah, I heard the fishing is awsome even a grandslam a posibility

Payment in a nice wee Glenrothes or Longmorn could be arranged

We are hoping to go down to Margaret River so a wee stop at Mandurah on way down might be good

Most of the guys are making their way back from Exmouth.

I can tell you now from the dates you have booked not to bother the trout down south as the water will be way too hot.
