Just some feedback from our trip down in Mandurah this past Saturday.
Me, Jacques and Eric had the opportunity to fish with and be entertained by Roger. Lots of funny comments and moments when fishing with Roger. Roger will have to tell the tale of his floating wallet. Luckily no cellphones were lost... hahaha
We started off at the new traffic bridge. The weather was good but the water was colder than expected. Waders would have been great.
The following species were caught at the new traffic bridge:
* Herring (lots of them)
* Tarwine. 2 of them (Yellowfin bream)
* Tailor (a few)
* Whiting (Jacques started catching them on a Clouser)
After a hot cup of coffee and a warm pie we headed to "the Cut".
The following species were caught at "the Cut":
* Herring (lots of them again)
* Snapper. 1 of them (23.5cm)
* Western Butterfish. 1 of them
Overall a good day of fishing.
Flies, size and colours I fished with on the day:
* Clousers and Charlie variations
* Tan over White, White over White, Yellow over White, Olive over White, Chartreuse over White, Brown over white.
* Size 4 - 8

Nice to hear from you Rudolph.
Andre did forget to mention the large rock that he landed. Fortunately he stuck with his catch and release policy and after posing for a photo returned it for us to catch another time
