Goat action on the field day on the week end

Post by Doug Gasmier » Mon Dec 08, 2014 7:30 pm

Just manage to find out where my photobucket details were so I can start putting photos on the forum. Expect a few to come up as I have a backlog.

First up, I had some Goat action on the weekend field day. With a restriction of only using natural materials I chose some chartreuse goat hair to tie some clousers. Thanks to the blowies they quickly became crazy charlies.

I name this fly the "Green Goat". Clouser

The more observant will notice that one has a red thread head and the other has a green thread head.

Does it make a difference. Well not really. The blowies munched both of them. The seem to munch the red thread a little faster.

Go the Green Goat!

Need to resize the photo width Douggie. I'm putting a warranty claim into Andre for all the flies that got chewed on the weekend. :)

Photos were taken on the windows phone. Still learning how to play with the camera and the editing.

Flathead was the only fish to chew my fly.
