Huge thanks to Dave for getting me out in his boat daily and doing the driving there and back!! And thanks to everyone else for making me feel so welcome on my first Boneheads.
It was a week of firsts for me - got my first tuna on fly (Mac Tuna) after 4 sharkings. Also cracked the meter mark with a 1.10m Queenee in thigh deep water (unfortunately no pictures as Dave was rushing off across the flat chasing Permit)! Almost got me a cracker of a brassy but it spanked me on my 12wt after a 10min fight. Saw plenty of huge GTs on the flats, lots of Permit but didn't manage either - next time
I'd say it'd be hard to top the week's fishing we had there!!!
