This particular blank was one of the first 5 Bandit blanks off the production line at Swift. After I wrote my original review, Carl McNeil asked if he use the review on his web site as a testimonial. The rod you see in that review is this very rod.
As I said in the review, this rod is great for battling fish and casting heavy flies into tight holes. It's also a pretty handy rod for salmon and snapper from a boat or kayak. If we had Murray Cod here, this would be ideal for them. Nominally, it's a 10wt but it's very versatile and will also cast 8wt and 12wt lines if you want to do so.
The grip is a Maniform ergonomic grip. The seat is an ALPS triangular seat. The guides are Fuji Ti frames with SiC inserts throughout. It comes with the Swift rod sock shown below (that alone was $60 at the time.)
(Note, these photos were taken when it was new. It has been used since then. The rod is still in excellent condition.)

I'm chasing $500 (firm) plus postage if required. For comparison, the rod kit with standard fittings from Swift is $610 and you'll still have to build it, or the rod built by them is $1080.
Perth locals get first dibs because they can come and cast it before buying. (If you're in a rural area but can get to Perth to cast it, contact me.)
Cheers,
Graeme
