What is a good material and size for the butt section of the leader I assume your talking about a two or a three piece leader

Can any one shed any light on the shimmer flash material? I can find sparkle flash but not the shimmer

Just to sweeten the deal I’ll chuck in some carp Flys,a loaf of bread and tell you simons top spots to get a good bend in the rod ! Hahaha
