Boat Strip Basket
Boat Strip Basket
If I remember correct there was some talk at a club meeting on making strip baskets for a boat. I think the 50l rubbish bins from Bunnings should work well? Does anyone have some advice on what to ad to the bottom to weigh them down?

Re: Boat Strip Basket
I just added a big zip lock bag full of sand. Works fine for me.
The one Steve made had a round wooden base of about 5cm thick. He glued on a piece of carpet at the bottom of the base. The base was also painted to seal it from water.
Hope this helps

Hi Rudi.
Have a look at this thread for some pics of Tony's tangle tub/line tamer.

Another option is to make a base out of an old conveyor belt. This is what I have done - I was lucky enough to get a pre-cut one from Albert (thanks again Albert!).
Dave.
