As I promised at the fly tying day on Sunday, here's the basis for the crab carapaces I showed.
To make the body, print out the document, paint Clear Cure Goo or some other UV goop onto the crab bodies, curing with UV as you go, then cut them out as you need them.
Construct the fly on the hook (ie. legs, eyes and nippers fitted), then stick the carapace to the fly with more CCG.
