Hi Guys,
New to the forum and to WA, in fact I'm just visiting for the next 7 weeks or so. I came across this website and your boneheads reports on other forums and various other websites on the internet. I'm moving up to Exmouth tomorrow (3rd) for the remainder of my trip just to fish hard and explore the area. A little about me - I'm mainly a trout fisher, done two seasons in NZ, fish for other species such as pike at home in Scotland too but the saltwater game is largely new to me apart from one prior trip on the east coast of Australia. I'm a casting instructor at home and use 10 weights for pike so the tackle adjustment won't be a problem, learning all about the new species, tides and everything else that goes with it is where my attention will be diverted I think, really looking forward to learning actually.
I was wondering if there would be any scope to meet up with some of you during your time up in Exmouth? I realise this is a pre-arranged trip with a limited number of members so I fully understand if this is not possible but it would be great just to touch base with some like minded guys up there.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Scott and welcome
I'm sure nobody will mind if you catch up with us in the evenings as we chat about the days fishing. You might even be able to tag along some of the guys that are land base fishing.
Look for the buffed ninjas with fly-rods at the Escape Resort in Exmouth.

Welcome Scott. We meet in the evenings to discuss how everyone went during the day. You're welcome to come along. There will be quite a few guys shore based, and I'm sure they won't mind some company. Most of us will arrive Saturday. Hope to see you there.

Sorry for late response guys - been hard to come by internet over the past few days. I'm now up in Exmouth and even managed two baby trevally (no idea which type!) today. I was stoked just to get something on the first days fishing
Also had some interesting conversations with people who couldn't understand why I was in the sea with a trout rod!
Thanks for the warm welcome and for inviting me along, I'll definitely come along and say hi on Saturday evening. I'd imagine you'll all be in the bar?! I'll be the scotsman with the pale complexion.
