Tony,
Have you tried out those K guides you bought as stripper guides yet, i can think of reasons for and against, need to replace a coupla strippers on one of my rods and i'm considering the titanium frame version.

The k guides I picked up from you are on a Xi3 10wt. Initially didn't like them. This was more to do with the old cracked line that was on the reel at the time. Really felt like the guides were hanging onto the line during casts. It felt to me like the angled guides made this worse. Saying that, I fished with that line the whole week at Thevenard, as it's one of those places that something will run you through the reefs the minute you change to a fresh new line. I've since fished that rod with several other lines that were not cracked. Can't say if the k guides are better than conventional guides when used on a fly rod. They're certainly work as well as standard guides.
I'ld use them again if it's a custom build with something different in mind. Pretty hard finding titanium frame fuji guides in a size 20, so may be worth using them for this reason alone.
