This time of the year was always my fluro time when fishing hard bodies for bream. Twitched in snags the fluro orange snap shad has caught me many fish. I always wanted to find a fly of a similar style that would do the job, and having caught a few fish on it I'm happy with the way it works. The chilli pepper is an ideal fly in the tanin waters of the Murray and canals at this time of the year. For the recipe, check out:
