This rod is built on totally new high/intermediate modulus blanks and features a high performance action that blends the brute force requirements of battling strong coastal winds with the technical demands of softly presenting a fly to a tailing fish in the often deadly 20ft range. This exceptional blank is combined with a host of upgrades from the original Platinum XD salt range including section line up marks, high quality Kigan guides and a custom designed and built Greys reel seat with Carbon spacer. The rod is supplied in a heavy duty triangular, colour coded Cordura rod tube with internal dividers. Designed specifically for targeting saltwater species. High intermediate modulus carbon composite. Fast action designed for throwing heavy flies. Hard lined Kigan butt guides with hard chrome snake intermediates and round tip ring. Customised 6061 silver anodisedalloy reel seat with turquoise carbon spacer. Marine blue blank with deep blue and silver detail. Section line up marks. Full wells style handle in AAA grade cork with multi composite cork in wear points.
