Teaser Rod Blanks in stock now

Teaser blanks are in stock now as well, got 10 in, i think there is about 4 left. We can also build these in store into a complete teaser rod. Be quick if you want one as we have to order 10 at a time , the next order may be quite some time off.

What are the specs for the teaser rods? And what's the waiting time to have them built up?

I'm based in Singapore and have been after a couple for some DIY Sailfishing up in Rompin, Malaysia.

Hi Kelvin,
They are 8'6" long approximately, two piece, quite stiff with quite fat tip, they are built interline style with custom made stainless tip and guiding ring at the half way point. An oval fuji guide and an upside down small single fuji oval guide guides the line through the small hole. It is kept as small as possible to reduce the risk of blank breakage at this point. While this is always a possibility; because you're not really meant to cut holes in blanks; most choose to accept the risk for the benefits that the interline style rods give for this purpose. The current version we build is designed to use with an overhead reel of some sort, and most choose to use dacron as line. We will be doing a batch some time after the new year and there are 4 still available to build as i write so if you are interested flick me an e-mail at workshop@bluewater.net.au , where i will be in a better position to give more exact detail.
