Club Meeting Tuesday 1 September 2015

Hi all
This month's meeting, Graeme will be showing some hollow braid for use as reel backing. He's also going to demonstrate how to splice loops into the backing to join to flyline.
The second half of the night, we have an auction of gear that's been donated to the club by Geoff Smith. There's a fair collection of gear here, and it's worth bringing some money along for the night. Bluewater Myaree has also also donated some products to add to this auction.

Guys - Brian and I will be at the club at approx 6pm. If anyone could come just after 6pm to help unload the auction gear that would be greatly appreciated.
There will be no reserve prices - everything must be sold.
Rods, reels, lines, hooks, eyes, fly tying material, vices, threads, leaders.

Hi Fellow Flyrodders,
A huge thank you!! goes to Geoff Smith for donating probably his life's fly fishing collection then auctioning off all that gear was amazingly generous. Geoff will get a kick out of knowing that those two boys (one was Angus) were inspired to follow in his foot steps on the incredible journey of Saltwater fly fishing. Good on you Mate!! many thanks Geoff Smith. I have your Penn International 5 W 2 piece, and Reddington 8/9W rods, I'll look after them.
