That is the first one for me, and was a real buzz. Eric deserves a lot of credit for his expert teasing and boat driving, as well as 'billing' the fish.

Congratulations on your great fish too - we picked the right day to be out there!

It was an epic day with 3 blacks landed between the two boats.

Mine was a complete calamity on both the tease and landing with 55 minutes of pain in between. Would do it all again though. Starting to plan the next billfish trip already as nothing compares to seeing a bill come flying out the water!

What an amazing fish. They are a remarkable creature.
Catching one is something I will endeavour to try again......I'm truly hooked.

I spoke to Morsie today and the bill fishing has been a tough this week, only a handful of billfish raised and maybe a couple of sails landed.
