Herring Fly for Salmon

Post by Stephen Bradbury » Tue Apr 18, 2017 2:38 pm

Hey guys, I'm almost to embarrassed to post up my scruffy flies after Mike Bishops efforts, but here's my first attempt at a fly to replicate a juvenile herring to tempt the Salmon later this year especially after they have been bashed senseless and are a bit more fly shy ! (yes it does happen) ! :D It's basically a full synthetic deceiver pattern in the right colours (with a little marker work) because Salmon love smashing herring ! :)

Nice one, have been trying to develop a similar pattern myself but it hasnt ended up looking like this! May try give the synthetics a bash again.
