I'm posting this here before posting on the national forum because the handle on this rod is one of those ergonomic grips I use (Maniform grip) and it would be better if the buyer could have a play with it before paying. From memory, I've fished with it once.
Besides the unusual grip, I also build nearly all of my rods using Single foot Fuji Ti frame guides with SiC inserts and the reel seats are the black ALPS 12mm triangular seats. This one is no different.
Sage doesn't give a line weight other than to say it's designed for a 390gn line. That's not terribly helpful, I know, but I found it best with 11 and 12 wt lines. It's a brutal rod and I have no qualms using it as a 12wt. I'm selling the rod because I simply don't use it.
The rod comes with a rod sock but no tube.
